At the end of this course it is expected that you will be able to:

  1. recognise hoarding behaviour,
  2. understand the cognitive-behavioural model of hoarding, and
  3. identify effective interventions.

The goal of this learning activity is to explore the behaviours and characteristics of hoarding; examine the cognitive-behavioural theories and practice, and consider recommended evidence-based techniques to help people affected by the condition.

You do not have to complete the course in one sitting. You can pause at any point and resume later. The course is made up of 3 key sections; each one ending with a ‘Test Your Knowledge’ quiz.

Overall study time: approximately 3 hours.
